I read a lot from the ministry

Pig and I enjoy his wisdom and the

calm Grandpa like manor as THE WORDS OF GOD are shared.

If You look him up you can hear him too.

They will refresh your soul like his stories do for Pig and me.

I love that ..Pig said

Why ?

I asked because

I know what’s in the story he shared today.

And I know what you are going to say.

I think?

Ok ..Funny pig

As she nestled in my arms as I started writing looking at me.

She can be so distracting because she is very fun to look at.

Pig has black button eyes that reflect the light .

Her nose is huge and her ears are sometimes up and sometimes down .

Over the almost 40 years of having her in our family for story telling.

She seems to change appearance because of her smushy body and her thinning fur ..

I know she is not real but her voice is in my head of what she would ask or say.

Then

Pig said, Then stop looking at me .

Ok.

And then I began thinking about

Family and RUTH and her

Mother in law NAOMI.

and in the story she must of been really nice

and kind and caring to her daughter in laws

for them to want to be with her from the loss  of their husbands.

I always hear jokes about Mother in law’s..

Like in casual conversation

Oh, I know

I have  to see my Mother in law today.

With a frowny face.

It’s a holiday so I have to see her or I haven’t stopped by in a long while.

So I have to.

Or Oh know, your Mother is coming over today?

Like it’s a scary or painful thing

And only should occur at HALLOWEEN.

I know it sounds funny Pig ..

She looks at me with such kind and loving eyes as though she understands the thought process of the feeling of intrusion to a happy home schedule.

As I understand it Pig.

Mother in laws to be invited at that time because she would fit in to the atmosphere of your home better at Halloween as to be in a mind set of play and not serious and not have to be

prepared for the anxiety of her presence and the fear of what she could say or do..

Do you know what a Mother in law is Pig?

No. PIg answered.

She is the Mother that raised the Son that your new daughter in law married.

This is His Choice to marry the woman he loves forever.

And the daughter in laws make a family with to make you a Grandmother.

But problems and the funny jokes can arise

Because of a long time relationship of Mother and Son they have a bond and an understanding of one another that the new wife doesn’t have yet.

The daughter in law has the love of a husband

Who loves her so much.

The love for the Mother and the love of a wife is different .

Communication between can fail because of to much attention given to the Mother is my best guess.

The wife feeling less or left out when

The Mother in law is present.

and then here comes the Many stories

of whatever the possibility would be that as I have

heard in some scenarios can be very uncomfortable but mostly

Whatever is imagined .

This I think is overly magnified and I think that conclusion may be it but in contrast.

Our story today and

The stories of three widowed woman being

A Mother in law and her name in the Bible is

NAOMI and she is only thinking of her two daughters.

First, in the natural as for the food and comfort and protection and having a new husband for them both in their life and not thinking of the

Spiritual things right now.

Because she was thinking like a practical natural woman.

Also know as well, as a Spiritual woman one knowing GOD of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.

Which is really what she was to them as an example of a GODLY Mother in law.

To teach them by example and tradition of the Jewish laws and ways to honor THE GOD OF CREATION.

The real life important things that are everlasting for them both as they both came from pagan worship and  sacrifice and immorality as a part of worship to their Gods that I won’t go into now.

Good. Pig said.

I don’t want to hear about what idol worshippers do .

The readers can look up in the Bible if they want to know.

I agreed and continued.

In the stress and worry about her daughter in laws NAOMI forgot about the power of GOD and the stories of deliverance in Exodus and restoration to an entire Nation that was given her people a land filled with milk and honey.

Called Israel.

Sometimes when tragic things happen in your life

You forget to acknowledge the One true GOD

THAT LOVES YOU MORE THAN YOU KNOW OR REALIZE.

Why do we do that?

Pig asked.

We seem to remember eventually when we get past our hurts.

When we start counting our blessings instead of our sorrows.

My Mother always said, You could be going through a horrible circumstance in your life and then someone tells you a more even a worse story.

Then you start counting your blessings and ask GOD to get you through this and of course HE WILL.

Pig, I said.

Naomi was of many days old and the feeling of helplessness and in sadness of the loss of her husband.

The touch of his hand and the kiss on her cheek.

The words that everything will be ok by her husband voice that was no more.

Pig, this was

overshadowing her upbringing of trusting GOD IN EVERYTHING

AND

THE TRADITION like the

Movie explained on

FIDDLER ON THE ROOF..

A must see for anyone who hasn’t seen it.

Sorrows and reliving hurts can and do and can overshadow of GOD and HIS PROMISES and comfort if you let them.

So

In Prayer like you say Pig.

Stop

Drop

And

PRAY

Prayer

Is always the answer going in the right direction

For healing and restoration of your life.

HIS COMFORT HE WANTS TO GIVE YOU

and

HIS

INSPIRING WORDS OF FAITH

TRUTH AND HOPE

And

YOUR DESTINY REVEALED.

REMEMBER

Pig,

HE WANTS ONLY GOOD FOR YOU

AND SUCCESS

NOT HARM.

YES 

and also remember

GOD ALWAYS WANTS SOMETHING

GOOD FOR YOU.

HE IS FOR YOU.

NOT AGAINST YOU.

HE IS YOUR HEAVENLY FATHER THAT LOVES YOU

Still waiting for breakfast

Like PANCAKES and butter and syrup that’s good right?

But more then that Pig.

I said.

Pig thinking how can anything be better than that but said nothing and listened.

as I continued

But because of NAOMI and her circumstances

she was looking  only at the natural things of not having what she had before and that made her decisions based on the things she could see with her eyes.

Not by prayer and GOD guided.

However GOD IS GOD.

and

in HIS MERCY is there for us

when we fall short.

HE IS THERE FOR US.

KNOW THIS IN LIFE.

Pig is listening intently.

As she looks up at me with her eyes and her head up and her ears like a horse at attention .

You have choices.

THE RIGHT WAY

AND

THE WRONG WAY

These girls would of experienced

Like The MOVIE FIDDLER ON THE ROOF

The knowledge of

ONE GOD

THE STORIES AND MIRACLES OF GOD

THE SABBATH

THE PASSOVER AND ITS MEANING   

THE ANIMALS that were SACRIFICED

FOR THE FORGIVENESS OF COVERING THIER SINS

They were with her seeing

her devotion to them and the honor to the

ONE TRUE

GOD OF ISRAEL

THE ONE TRUE GOD OF CREATION OF ALL THINGS

and her devotion and reverent fear of honoring and keeping

HIS TEN COMMANDMENTS

HIS PRECEPTS

and

HIS PRINCIPALS

however if you do not PRAY

and it’s only

PRAYERS YOU REPEAT IN HABIT

THIS IS Not sharing your heart .

It is just a ritual of obedience to fill your mind up with the ways of GOD.

That’s good but not personal.

And even though your

habits of the Jewish ways that were in grained in you to direct your thoughts back to THE WORDS OF GOD.

Brings to you a personal relationship eventually as you lose yourself and Trust in GOD.

The EXAMPLE

to the life to do and to be in perfect order to remember the miracles and how you as a people were delivered as a people from EGYPT being grateful and pleasing to

GOD remembering

HIM DAILY.

Giving Thanks for every blessing.

And readIng ( they didn’t have the BIBLE or books like us now )

But talking about GOD bringing

HIM into daily remembrance.

NAOMI was missing the long personal talks with GOD seeking his face and HEARING HIS VOICE not her personal wisdom

BUT HIS..

So Pig you have three woman

One the teacher of life

Two students

That are observing

WHAT IS TRUTH through her life

And her examples and her knowledge and upbringing reflecting

GOD and HIS MERCY.

Pig we all come to a crossroads in our lives.

To decide to go into the earthly things and ways that you know that seems right in your eyes with

NO CONSCIENCE

NO RESPONSIBILITY of helping or doing much good just doing for yourself

and / or

DO WHAT IS FAMILIAR to you.

and the memory of

Some things you were raised with

That doesn’t challenge your

Spiritual side of yourself

just your own

FLESH and it’s WANTS and it’s NEEDS.

And you say to yourself

That’s GOOD ENOUGH FOR ME.

I am not going to worry about tomorrow or DEATH

I will live while I can and let

DEATH WORRY ABOUT

ITSELF

and walk without the knowledge of THE ONE TRUE GOD WHO THOUGHT YOU UP

And

WHO MADE YOU.

It takes to much work to know.

And I don’t care ..

Attitude takes over.

Or

In contrast you see there is something more in life.

The goodness and kindness and caring of others besides yourself and you see

THE BEAUTY OF LIFE.

The Purity of body and mind and giving and the sacrifice of one’s self, even though you may not have a lot to give but time and talents you have.

And goodwill and help and the reward inside as you give your

Spirit inside something to grow on and longs for MORE and MORE.

Naomi was the example.

Their Mother in law.

THE WORDS OF GOD shared.

AND

To bring in

THE PRESENCE OF GOD

By remembering what GOD has done.

Sharing with others builds faith

THAT GIVES LIFE..AND FORGIVENESS

And

Then Pig,

TO KNOW

THAT WHEN YOU PRAY

THE GOD WHO MADE EVERTHING

INCLUDING YOU.

HEARS YOU.

SEES YOU.

it’s something you long for inside that gives you PEACE.

and contentment even though you don’t seem to have much..

ITS ENOUGH TO HAVE

TO MAKE LIFE GOOD AND SATISFYING..

So ORPAH and RUTH

HAD A CHOICE

Educated by NAOMI.

Now,

I bring you to the Cross on Calvary in Jerusalem

now to think of another story.

JUST LIKE THE TWO MEN

ON EACH SIDE OF CHRIST

Both were being educated by the crowd all about CHRIST as they talked loudly for all to hear

about who HE CLAIMED TO BE.

THE MESSIAH

THE SON OF GOD

THE MIRACLES

THE HEALINGS

THE FOOD THAT FED THOUSANDS

AND WHY HE WAS ON THE CROSS WITH THEM and asking why doesn’t

HE COME DOWN ?

HE HAS THE  POWER HE SAYS TO DO IT.

AS the one on the right stopped

Saying words against HIM.

He realized they were receiving their just punishment.

And the he saw the purity and hope and the love given in this man and believed.

Pig asked.

Believed what?

That HE WAS THE SON OF GOD.

THE CHRIST AND THE LIFE EVERLASTING

AND THEN

He on the right side of CHRIST,

JESUS OUR LORD

CHOSE JESUS CHRIST.

and he asked to be with

HIM.

As JESUS REPLIED,

TODAY YOU WILL BE WITH ME IN PARADISE

LUKE 23:43

THE OTHER CHOSE DEATH

AND Yet they both heard about TRUE LIFE and

also KNEW

THE LIFE THEY KNEW.

And

THEY LIFE THEY HAD CHOSEN.

Life or death.

One chose life the other death.

So Pig,

You know know who had chosen life.

Each man and woman have that the same information today.

That GOD IS GOD

THE MIRACLES OF GOD

AND TO KNOW

HE IS

THE TRUTH

HE IS THE LIFE AND THE WAY

JOHN 14:6

And JOHN 3:16

GOD SAYS

HE LOOKS ON THE HEART OF MAN and WOMAN

1 Samuel 16:7

So our story ends knowing about

ORPAH that you can hardly remember her name

Because she chose a life without

THE ONE TRUE GOD.

Even though she loved her Mother in law very very much.

But went back to her family that she was familiar with and their ways of idol worship and sacrafices.

BUT

YOU REMEMBER THE NAME OF

RUTH

HER LOVE FOR HER MOTHER IN LAW

AND

TRUSTING IN THE ONE TRUE GOD.

THAT SHE CHOSE TO SERVE

AND

RUTH WHO MADE THE BEAUTIFUL DECLARATION

STILL REMEMBERED ON

SUNDAY AND SATURDAY SERMONS EVEN TODAY.

SHE WOULD SERVE HER

AND

HER ONE TRUE GOD

SHE MADE A CHOICE .

WHEREVER SHE WOULD GO

SHE WOULD GO

WITH HER.

RUTH 1:1-22

GREAT LOVE TELLING HER

AND SPEAKING OUT TO HER MOTHER IN LAW

HER GREAT

DEVOTION TO BE BY

HER MOTHER IN LAWS SIDE.

TO HELP HER AND BE WITH HER.

AND HELP HER IN ALL

OF HER NEEDS.

TOGETHER THEY WOULD BE

BLESSED AS LONG AS THEY WERE TOGETHER

BECAUSE SHE SAW GOD

AND HIS LOVE

THROUGH HER MOTHER IN LAW.

AND

WITHOUT THAT KIND OF LOVE AND SACRAFICE OF SHARING AND CARING

WHAT IS LIFE ?

NAOMI EXCEPTED HER LOVE.

AND

BECAUSE OF THAT DECISION

DESTINY

CAME TO THEM BOTH.

THE PROVISION AND RESTORATION TO NAOMI AS WELL.

HER POSITION IN THE TOWN WITH HONOR

FOR THE REST OF HER LIFE WAS RESTORED.

She became a Grandmother too.

Bringing new life to her as grandchildren do.

THE DESTINY TO US ALL TOO…

AND

THE BEAUTIFUL LOVE STORY

OF

RUTH THE MARRIAGE TO BOAZ

The kinsman redeemer ..

THE LINEAGE THAT CHRIST

OUR LORD

WAS BORN FROM

FOR THE SALVATION OF THE WORLD

AND

FORGIVENESS TO ALL WHO BELIEVE..

Wow, Pig said. That’s a really good story.

Thank you Pig .

Then Pig asked?

Are you a Mother in law?

Yes, Pig.

Does your DAUGHTER in law you have know Jesus as

LORD AND SAVIOR?

Yes, Pig .

Are you teaching her and sharing Christ so others will choose good

Instead of the world?

Yes, Pig.

Pig continued.

How are you doing that?

I answered,

By example and sharing JESUS to my Grandchildren she gave me.

And

Through you Pig as an example of how we live.

You are my RUTH

who loves me.

Lives with me.

And comforts me and inspires me to share

THE GREAT TRUTH OF LOVE in the stories we write and share together.

As my daughter in law reads them it’s a quiet sharing and caring the love sent to her.

Life is busy and times are so precious.

So sending love through you in thoughtful

Notes of kindness.

Pig, A Mother in law is a special gift and handled with care and love and respect.

The same must always be given to the daughter in law as well.

We are there when we are needed and shared times together as life allows.

So it’s mostly you Pig.

It’s me and you and our readers.

Together forever.

And

then GOD when it’s time,

HE

Will take me home.

To a beautiful place called heaven.

And my memory of our stories together will live on to whoever gets to have you to take care of you.

And to all that read our stories.

The Grampy will take of you and then you will go through the family so you are protected and cherished.

Pig interrupts as she seemed a little distressed

As she asks?

Are you planning to leave soon.

Funny Pig.

Not today.

I still have to make you breakfast pancakes.

I could live 100 years?

GOD SAYS TO BE READY

IN A MOMENT.

In a twinkling of an eye HE IS COMING.

For GOD COULD COME FOR

US ALL..

Absent from the body present with Christ that know HIM as their SAVIOR AND LORD.

Me too ? asked Pig.

I pray for you too.

The idea of you Pig to be with me in heaven everyday if it’s possible.

Just like the story you love about Pinocchio to be as real..

The idea is so fun to think about.

To have Pig to play with me in heaven.

To share stories past with others there.

And in that thought,

I believe all things are possible with GOD

Mathew 19:26

However,

If it is HIS WILL.

Not mine.

Like in THE LORDS PRAYER.

She smiled

And held on to me tightly ..
