St. Patrick and the show down at Tara

Good Morning

Pig and I have been listening and reading the stories of St. Patrick's life.

Pig is eating the stack of little Pancakes called silver Dollar size and dipping in melted butter and syrup. With ice cold milk of course.

That's the size of a small cookie if you don't know about Silver Dollars.

We use to get one placed under our pillow when we would lose a tooth.

Our Parents or Grand Parents would put our tooth under our pillow and then in the morning.

We would look under our pillow and a silver dollar or Piggy bank money of all kinds of coins would be under there like having our own pot of Gold.

Did you know about that Pig?

I have heard of it.

Pig said, but I don't have any teeth or mouth so I never experienced that.

I have seen some tooth fairy movies and Leprechaun cartoons and Movies about the pot of Gold.

I replied, I only think the fairy tooth Movies are the one that's included for tooth loss Pig.

But that's just another pretend thing to play and have fun celebrating a new tooth and even though you may of had pain losing it.

The miracle is something good is around the corner with the blessing of a new tooth.

I like that idea Pig said.

So, something good happens as GOD turns it from a situation that was bad or painful

to something good.

Just like Jeremiah 29:11

Yes, Pig.

I shared the scripture verse :

GOD says "FOR I KNOW THE PLANS I have For You,

DECLARES THE LORD.

"PLANS TO PROSPER YOU and Not to harm you ,

PLANS TO GIVE YOU HOPE AND A FUTURE."

This is a Promise Pig from GOD.

As we Pray, and we are going through a problem or pain we can Pray this Promise back to GOD to give us encouragement and hope and direction.

As we do Pig,

GOD places where the Blessing is. As we listen to HIS VOICE.

Not ours.

Wow, Pig said .

He must really love us.

Yes, Pig HE DOES..

Just Like this story today.

The story of St. Patrick and what the Idol worshippers both Kings BIG and small went to a hill called Tara in Ireland to give honor to their GODS by having the first fire lit.

As the story is told that Patrick had lit a fire unknowingly that this was their practice and lit a fire to Praise GOD of Heaven and Earth the Creator of ALL THINGS.

It was the Easter season and Patrick was full of love and appreciation of

What GOD HAD DONE not only for him but for the whole world.

Easter time is when JESUS suffererd and died on a cross and rose up from the dead 3 days later to live forever.

HE was the Only SON OF GOD to be the one to give himself pure and Sinless to be the Lamb of GOD to be sacraficed for all humanity.

For the forgiveness of Sin for all mankind. Past, Present and future.

The fire Pig was seen far off and that upset the Leaders that Patrick lit the first fire that they wanted to honor their GODs' of Idol worship.

So the challenge was made because they wanted to kill Patrick.

Now a challenge was accepted and to see.

1. WHOSE GOD was GOD ?

and or you could say they were thinking

2 . WHOSE GOD WAS BIGGER AND MORE POWERFUL.

I prefer to go with the first one.

Pig said, me too.

The Druid Pirates and Kings and Lords and wizards and witches

And those that worshipped the Idols

Of Baal and others GODS.

They made sacrifice of people of all ages and did terrible stuff that we will not talk more about it.

Just know Pig, It was really bad and evil Pig and that's what they did there.

I found a story that was in agreement with my story told to me at Tara.

They included lots of Leaders and Clans. The Lord of LAOGHAIRE

And other Lords and Chiefs as well The wicked King of The Druids

Just like The Chief leader Muirchui and Others that came to meet together on the hill of Tara Past.

They now arrived for the show down

Mauirchui remained at a great distance as so many were there.

Even though he was a King Chief he wasn't as Powerful as the others there and now was being very old and still very wicked.

King Laoghaire was there. EVIL Seerers of the future by evil spirits were there were Lucetmael, Ronul, Lochru and more.

The fires were lit.

As the leaders stood around the little wooden house that were made like a little hut.

One was made of green wood and one of old wood.

This was a point to worship at and to see if they could burn St. Patrick up faster.

There was one made for both Patrick on one side and for the Leaders to gather around on The Hill of Tara.

There was a distance less than a 100 feet between them

But easy to hear and see.

Hearts were racing and voices loud speaking things that you would not want to repeat to the readers.

Lots of noise and confusion as they cried out to their GODs.

Patrick just stood there as he let them go first to contact

the GOD they thought would prove to be the most powerful.

Patrick and his men once who were once Druid Pirates themselves stood strong as they surrounded Patrick to protect him.

Their hearts were racing too.

They knew if this didn't work out that death would soon find them all.

They saw their past life before them as it was acted out for them to see.

They knew their hearts had been changed and they knew the living GOD that

Patrick told them about and HIS NAME WAS JESUS.

Patrick Prayed and spoke out loud enough to be heard by those that surrounded him.

They heard every word and that gave them all strength and encouragement as they waited for the others to finish yelling out to their GODs.

Thanking GOD that they were on the side of Patrick and His GOD and now there's.

Even now if GOD didn't come there,

Even if death found them they were glad they knew THE LIVING GOD OF ST. PATRICK.

The only thing on the others mind as they were screaming and Yelling out was to get rid of this Man called Patrick by Fire.

As they others called out for the fires to consume him with magic and chanting and those that stood by him.

To Prove that their GOD was GOD.

Patrick still stood their strong looking up to GOD

With no harm at all done to him.

Psalm 37:7-9

7 Rest in the Lord, and wait patiently for him: fret not thyself because of him who prospereth in his way, because of the man who bringeth wicked devices to pass.

8 Cease from anger, and forsake wrath: fret not thyself in any wise to do evil.

9 For evildoers shall be cut off: but those that wait upon the Lord, they shall inherit the earth.

As they were beginning to get tired and as the Warriors and leaders looked over to Patrick.

He was still there and still live.

They were quite angry about that and you could tell they were thinking as if they wanted to just charge him and take him by force.

Patrick looked up just then and Prayed for all those around

this fire praying to the worshipers of these idols and all the Evil things they have done

To be consumed with fire.

As Patrick Prayed

In THE MIGHTY NAME OF JESUS

LOUDLY

And

THEN MADE THE SIGN OF THE CROSS

And

THE MEN AROUND HIM DID TO.

As they were watching Patrick every move he was making.

It was dark but the fire lit the air around them in light and

their eyes glued on to him and their ears to his prayers.

The moment of life and death now

Hung in the balance.

Was THE GOD OF PATRICK going to show up?

Seeming as the longest moment ever as they waited.

The eyes of the enemy were on Patrick too

As they watched him Pray and look up and then,

A sound of rushing wind came like a tornado

and then the FIRE so BIG AND POWERFUL CAME DOWN

As everyone looked up.

THE FIRE FROM HEAVEN consumed them all that were standing there.

THEY WERE ALL GONE.

The air now still and SILENT HOLY PRESENCE filled the air with

THE PRESENCE OF GOD.

They ran to tell Chief Muirchui as he went straight to his camp.

As he ran with the thoughts and the words of Patrick.

He was consumed in his mind with knowing

Patrick's GOD was GOD.

He kept running and thinking what to do and say to Cheif Muirchui.

Just like the Centurion soldier that saw JESUS breathe his last breath and said it is finished .

As he said surely this was the SON OF GOD.

Mathew 27:54

When you see something like this you know GOD IS GOD.

When he arrived to Chief Muirchui at the camp

He knew he could go two ways.

Repent or die for the shame of what he did to Patrick as His slave and concerned he would come down and be his Lord and servant.

That was his thinking even though that would not be true. The devil is a liar and puts thoughts into your head.

Just like Judas Iscariot that betrayed JESUS. Judas was sorry but could not sorry enough to repent to GOD.

Judas could not face the other disciples and Muirchui couldn't face the few men he had left.

or choose to die.

Pride is the fall of man

Look at Satan and his story.

He fell from heaven to earth

Because of Pride.

and then when he fell to earth Satan still wanted to be GOD.

And guess what Pig?

He still does.

Pig just looked at me with no expression. Just listening to what happens next.

Forgiveness and Love and choosing Christ as Savior is the TRUE POWER

Over SIN and eternal death.

Because

HE JESUS, IS THE TRUTH AND HE IS LIFE.

Then Pig asked,

What happened to Chief Muirchui ?

You are not telling me.

What did he do ?

I will tell you Pig.

Remember when Patrick went boldly into Chief Muirchuis' Camp ?

Pig said, Yes.

Patrick shared the Truth of THE ONE TRUE GOD To Chief Muirchui.

Patrick told him that JESUS died for HIS SINS and that HE rose up from the dead on the third day.

Cheif Muirchui clearly said didn't agree with any of that. As Patrick continued.

That JESUS lives for ever more and all he had to do was to say

YES, to JESUS and Believe.

And by saying YES, he would be

SAVED FROM HIS SINS.

AS IF HE NEVER HAD NEVER DONE ANYTHING WRONG.

Then CHEIF MUIRCHUI said, to Patrick

YOUR GOD WILL HAVE TO DO BETTER THAN THAT AND LAUGHED.

Then, Told him to GO.

He didn't get it, Pig.

He didn't understand.

But then he just saw and heard from a distance THE POWER OF GOD.

He had his chance just like Pilate did when he talked about

TRUTH with JESUS.

As HE SPOKE directly to Pilate.

ALL that know THE TRUTH hear my voice.

JESUS said.

Pilate said, What is Truth ?

And THE TRUTH was standing before him.

He could feel it.

John 18:37

So what happened to him?

Ok, Pig I am just trying to get as much juice out of this story as I can.

To prepare you for what came next was,

As Pig is hanging onto her seat.

This was sad Pig, because

Muirchui knew now, GOD WAS GOD.

HE JUST SAW THE FIRE COME DOWN FROM HEAVEN.

He was just told by a runner what happened.

We don't know if he said sorry, to GOD.

But he made his decision and then walk right into the fire that he had burning In the middle of the camp and he died immediately.

That's horrible Pig said .

Yep, I replied

We all have choice Pig.

Remember that .

To say YES, or to say NO to the Love and Forgiveness Of GOD.

That's so BIG as a choice to give each of us.

Yes Pig, but the point is HE GIVES US CHOICE.

I am glad I know JESUS.

Me too. I said.

Legends say

Patrick would be noted for getting rid of the snakes of Ireland.

They said its to cold to have snakes there.

However,

The evil snakes representing Patrick is talking about were,

The Devil represented as a snake in the book of GENESIS.

Those hosts of Druid Pirates and wizards and witches that St.Patrick called the snakes of IRELAND.

The worshippers of Evil and idol worshipping of IRELAND

THEY WERE Mostly GONE NOW.

St. Patrick got rid of them by

The MIRACLES OF THE ONE TRUE GOD and THE POWER OF THE TRUTH OF GOD.

Wow, That was a good story.

Pig said

What happened to the men that stood by Patrick when they saw the fire come down ?

Not much is said Pig.

However, you can imagine they rejoiced and probably went to kneel down and

Praised GOD.

Just like Patrick would have done too.

The little hut still stood there

Untouched by the fire.

It was a symbol of that GOD WAS THERE.

Stones were later placed there. I saw a statue there too, in a Picture.

Legends of the fire of Tara would be told in many different ways.

The Pirates that had their life chaged helped St.Patrick as he was named that later by The church and the People of Ireland.

His destiny was being seen by all to build churches and more churches all over Ireland and to send missionaries out to tell the known world of the wonders of GOD.

Which he did.

The Pirates that sided with Patrick were devoted to

The GOD OF PATRICK.

With their whole heart served him as others too that came to help them too.

The Pirates would share the stories what they saw him do and say.

Which became Legends.

Patrick shared THE WORD OF GOD with the great stories of THE BIBLE.

So simply that a child could understand.

The three leaf clover was just one Bible story he shared with them for showing

The names of GOD

On one Leaf showing the unity of ONE GOD working together as ONE.

That's great, Pig said

Because that would include me.

Funny Pig.

I guess that's true with us all.

As Pig nodding her head yes.

The FATHER IN HEAVEN IN

JESUS NAME.

We Pray

Peace to you and your families

Health

Prosperity

Wisdom and Faith

And

The Love of JESUS in Your heart as we Pray that you have said

YES, TO JESUS.

I BELIEVE.

Forgive me too .

As we also Pray for the Peace to Israel and our Nation

The United States of America

And all the leaders seeking Peace.

Pig is trying to make the sign of the cross to honor GOD and

The St.Patrick story.

But her arms are to short.

Funny Pig .

She asked me, do you have to make the sign of the cross on your chest?

No Pig.

But different churches do to give honor and to remember the

Trinity of the ONE TRUE GOD.

FATHER

SON

HOLY SPIRIT

and that is good to know who

GOD IS

and who you are praying to.

Ok. Pig said

The HOLY SPIRIT THAT LIVES IN YOU

Will guide you to ALL TRUTH.

That is still the way to seek GOD

Amen to that she repeated.

It's scary out there without HIM.

Yep. I said

I never want to leave the house without Prayer and a Thank you

To say to GOD.

I know you are with me and to start my day with

HIS BLESSINGS HE PROMISES ARE NEW EVERY MORNING.

Pig and I looked at each other and laughed.

We know that we can never leave or hide from GOD.

HE is always there.

HE is OMNIPOTENT.

And that's another story.
