Pig said, GOD gives each of us Joyful memories that we can enjoy again and again

Good Morning

Pig and I have been away for a while.

Going to Doctors appointments far away.

Trying to get all fixed up again so we can see better and write again.

Not at our normal home and place but we are still able to write and play and soon to have our have our adventures in the library back again.

Pig is always a trooper .

Which means she follows me wherever I go.

Pig is always pleasant in the midst of traveling and going through my eye surgery and my stomach surgery soon.

Pig said, If I have eye surgery she is having eye surgery too?

There is no arguing with her so I gave her an eye patch.

Pig asked,

When you get the stomach surgery,

Will it stop us from eating Pancakes for

Breakfast or lunch or dinner?

No, Pig. I said.

We will have to make little ones at first then big ones later.

Pig said, Can I have a lot of little ones?

Yes,Pig.

Why a lot ?

I asked her?

I want to try out all these syrups you have made.

The recipe for simple syrup you had in our last story.

You didn’t mention you made all different kinds of syrup flavors too.

Pig continued,

All the flavors you had in your shelf with many extracts instead of vanilla.

I saw you made blueberry and almond and maple and strawberry that you even added the preserves from all the jellies you had in the refrigerator.

Funny Pig. I said.

I made grape and cherry and apricot and it was fun to put into the jars .

Yes, I have a lot of different flavors now to make your pancakes with.

I can make them even more special knowing with just cooking the simple syrup recipe with equal parts of purified water with either brown or white sugar and just remember measured equal parts of each.

Using a clean wooden each time you take out of your

Pan stirring on low .

Bubble Bubble and let it cook until it gets thicker

Then take off stove

Let sit .

You can always cook it more but to much

Makes candy.

And you can make that too.

Or taffy just higher temperature.

If you do cook to much add a little more water until thinner and cook again til it bubbles .

Take off stove.

Let it sit.

Remember not to worry.

Cool

Any hot sugar that flys out of pan is vey painful to your skin

So keep a wet wash cloth close by.

Quick get sugar off under cold water.

And be careful.

This is one of my Memories to share with you Pig.

My Mother would take my sister and I to that special restaurant in San Bernardino, California.

No longer there but

Called Uncle John’s Pancake house on E street.

My Mother recently widowed wanted to bring the Joy of being together and to make us both feel special.

We always set by the window seat because it was more fun.

You could see the people or cars go by as you waited for your food to be served.

The special reason we came here was that

The pancake syrups seemed endless and they served all kinds of pancakes Pig.

You would of loved it.

Pig was getting hungry as I shared my memory.

Pig continued listening to every word.

As she squeezed closer to me.

My sister and I both investigated each flavor.

Coconut

Maple

Walnut

Raspberry

Boysenberry

Strawberry

Cherry

Apple

And

Blueberry .

So many choices.

Wow, Pig said.

How did you choose which flavor?

Good question Pig.

We chose them all.

What ?

Pig said.

As Pig continues, How can you do that?

I responded.

That’s what made Uncle John’s so fun.

Dollar size pancakes.

Pig looked at me funny.

A dollar?

Pig said

Yes , Pig.

Along time ago we had silver Dollars.

Real money worth a dollar in Silver.

We would get one when we would lose our tooth

When we woke up someone put under our Pillow for the tooth fairy.

That’s Another story Pig.

But we should look up that Movie and watch it again it’s pretty funny to see the actor called THE ROCK in a tu tu.

The Movie

Called The tooth fairy in 2010.

Fun to watch to explain the unexplained.

A movie just for fun.

Anyway,

THE TRUE ROCK is JESUS

and that’s another story too.

The silver dollar was small but the biggest coin and heaviest made.

Similar to GOLD coins.

That was the size of these pancakes.

You would get a huge stack of them.

To us it was huge.

We were little like you Pig.

So fun to dip each pancake with a dab of syrup on a little plate on the side.

Or choose our favorite and pour as much as we wanted.

One glass of ice cold milk for each of us.

It was like having a Thanksgiving dinner.

Lots of smiles and laughter with each other.

Going out together if you can afford to budget it .

It is so fun.

We have given Thanks in our own way for each bite.

A great memory to see my Mother laugh and taste each syrup with us.

A bite of butter with each bite was a little much but that’s how Mother liked it .

That’s how she ate corn on the cob too.

But that’s another story.

How easy to know now how to make syrup yourself with good ingredients to know what is in your pancake batter and to know how easy to make homemade syrup.

No corn syrup.

served with real butter and Organic milk for you and coffee for me or hot chocolate.

Pig asked with marshmallows ?

Sometimes Pig but whip cream is just better to me.

We had lots of places to restaurant visits over the years

Foxy’s in Las Vegas.. When we lived there and got to swim in almost every pool on the strip which means Pig the main road through town

It had Lots of lights at night and it was like daytime almost like Christmas lights everywhere all the time.

Known for the city that never Sleeos.

Well. first they keep the lights on all the time pig and everything is open all the restaurants and people shop and gamble to try and make more money.

The hotels are big and always open.

FOXYS it was a restaurant not big but had a special menu for kids with a punch out of a mask to wear like Zorro.

It took a long time to drive back from California to Las Vegas, Nevada. FOXYS had so many picture signs to get you excited to get you to go there.

The signs world be

Telling you how many miles and pictures of a fox and pancakes.

Pig you would have loved it.

They gave the children color crayons with a pictures with the three pigs and a fox and pancakes.

We had such a good time there.

Then back home to have another breakfast

adventure .

My sister and I went to a restaurant and later my daughter when she was two years old her favorite.

This was a fun restaurant with cartooned images of the jungle animals on the walls.

You were excited just walking in.

You saw a little boy in the jungle of Royalty and he had a turban on his head and special beautiful royal clothes and shoes like in the Aladdin movie.

His story for the restaurant was that the little boy

Sambo wanted to play and seek adventure just like any boy or girl would want to do.

But you have to get bigger to go into the jungle alone or have someone with you .

That is called wisdom.

That comes with knowledge and parental guidance.

He should have listened to his Parents Pig and not

have gone in the jungle alone.

We must listen to our Parents Pig.

Pig looked at me in agreement.

Parents just like our loving Heavenly Father are trying to protect you.

Pig said,

I know.

As Sambo was singing and having a wonderful time in the jungle a Tiger showed up and then another.

It was very scary Pig .

Sambo remained as calm as he was able be.

The animals could talk there and Sambo was scared but reasoned with each one .

As he gave each tiger something from his clothing to make them feel special as he explained who he was

And how special these shiny clothes were that he had on.

More tigers came as each wanted a part of Sambos’ clothing to be special too.

Until all he had on was his underware.

Pig said, he must of been cold.

Yes ,Pig.

Sambo was cold and scared as he knew they were hungry too.

Then little Sambo had a thought and trick them.

Pig asked , What was it?

Sambo said in a very calm voice

He who has it all is called a KING of the jungle.

Lions are really the king of the Jungle

But only one could have a complete set of clothes

Could be called a King.

When they heard this they began chasing each other

To get each others clothing off of them.

They chased each other around and around the big tree.

They ran so fast around and around that the the tigers turned into huge pile of tiger butter.

The Sambo took the garments off the ground

And put them on.

As they ran so fast the clothes that don’t fit a tiger well started to fly off as they ran around the tree.

When he saw what happened

He was relieved and excited to share his story.

How would they believe him?

He took his turban off the ground and made a dish out of it to scoop up the tiger butter .

Little Sambo ran home with the tiger butter to tell this story.

The Parents were upset and sad calling out to him not finding him

Thinking the worst.

Then seeing Their Son looking so happy now even though were sad inside that he had left them .

They began crying out to Sambo as

they were now so excited to see him without harm safe and now home with them.

He was lost and now found.

There is a story like that for all of us in our lives.

When we were lost and then found.

The joy we felt to be safe and in the arms of our Patents or our Heavenly Father protecting us.

Sambo presented them with tiger butter

And with an apology.

The Mother and Dad were grateful for his apology

To give them the respect as a child should do.

The Mother made little cakes for the entire village

With the tiger butter.

The Parents did this to celebrate with the village and share the joy of their son’s safe return .

As they shared the story to so many over the years of this adventure and wisdom given to a little boy that saved his life.

That one day after hearing this story over the years

A restaurant was created to reflect this boy named

Sambo and how tiger butter was made from the jungle.

Pig asked, did they have a lot of different syrups there?

No , Pig

Just maple syrup but

They had whipped tiger butter and more pictures and crayons and a fun looking place to sit in

And see all the pictures of Sambo and tigers all around us as we ate our pancakes and tiger butter.

Mother gave thanks that again another moment shared with us as children .

Trying to teach us of life and lessons to listen and to learn to wait and to be grateful for the little things.

Mother would share many stories of her childhood.

She would tell us her of her Mother as a child and young adult raised with riches and unlnowingly chose poverty for falling in love without knowing him for very long.

But GOD had a plan .

We are who we are because of my Granmothers choices .

Even though wealth they did not find health to them or GOD

what kind of life is that?

Pig thought about it

And said

Yep, I will go with The plan of GOD.

We both agreed .

Our family had breakfast mostly at home with

Aunt Jemimah syrup always maple

Or Mrs Buttersworth .

Mother cooked them in her special oil with crunchy edges hot and fluffy and topped each pancake big or small with real butter and a small piece of fruit .

GOD is GOOD. I said.

As I told her a story while cooking her Pancakes in my cast iron skillet.

I will make you 12 little pancakes to taste each of my syrups just like the 12 tribes of Israel .

The GOD of Jacob and Issac and Abraham.

The tribe of Judah had the symbol of THE LION

JESUS FROM THE SON OF GOD

HE WOULD BE BORN IN BETHLEHEM

As WOULD BE PROPHESIED IN THE BOOK OF ISAIAH . READ THE WHOLE THING you will love it.

HE WOULD SAVE ALL OF MANKIND FROM THIER SINS

ALL LOST COULD BE FOUND

BY BELIEVING IN HIM

AND ASKING FORGIVENESS OF EVERY SIN

AND

SAYING YES, TO JESUS.

COME INTO MY HEART AND RESCUE ME.

By doing this your eyes are open to truth to avoid the danger .

How Pig asked?

By seeing the tricks of the enemy to trap you into doing things to harm you .

Just like the jungle and the tigers.

Giving you wisdom and humility

And strength and knowledge by reading

HIS book called THE BIBLE.

And doing what it says.

JESUS Is THE SON OF GOD and HE LOVES YOU.

Pig as I continued sharing to her.

HE is better than any pancake made or tiger butter.

HE is sweeter than any syrup.

HE is more than satisfying than any meal.

HE is our life rescued that gives us Peace and our forgiveness .

HE is our Everlasting life.

When we went to Sambos Restaurant

Before they closed them all down .

We didn’t know JESUS.

We were just glad a little boy named Sambo was rescued.

We were glad my Sister and I were with our Granny and our Mother together .

Safe

Warm

And

Dry.

A full belly of Little dollar size Pancajes there too.

Then

We would go home and sing songs on our player piano.

Songs of joy and songs of Love.

However there is no greater Joy or Love

Than JESUS.

Even though many years of pancakes made or served to us in many restaurants

The greatest Joy was when both my Granny and My Mother said, YES to JESUS.

Just knowing we will be able to be together forever

Even when this life is gone on earth.

How ?Pig said.

When you say yes to JESUS your name is written in the book of LIFE.

And if your name is in there you can get into heaven and live there together with everyone else in your family that said, Yes too.

Oh Pig said. I understand now that’s so easy

Yep, but not if you are deceived . The enemy is good at his job.

But the good news is they did say YES.

From then on

The pancakes were even better tasting then before.

Pig and I have a lot of stories to tell but there is no better story than JESUS.

The CHRISTMAS STORY TOLD BY MANY

BUT CHARLIE BROWN MOVIE HAD IT RIGHT.

A baby born in Bethlehem to save all of makind

Boys and girls to know Jesus loved them

And to all who believed HE was GOD

And HE came to rescue them .

To be able to truly happy and sing and to play with love of JESUS OUR SAVIOR in your heart.

I can still see the Charlie Brown tree in my mind

One bulb but so beautiful when JESUS is in your heart.

My daughter’s favorite tree memory.

To be free would be when EASTER came

Not the bunnies or chocolate or the hard boiled eggs Pig that we would color or hide.

But to know that the little baby was

THE SON OF THE LIVING GOD that made the earth the sky the moon the stars and sun and made you too.

That HE had to die on a cross for all the bad things ever done called SIN

and HE would be in a tomb for 3 days and 3 nights and would wake up and live again .

HE showed many people including g his disciples and followers and rose up to heaven before them into the clouds.

HE had them write HIS WORDS

which was done on scrolls then and then placed in a book called THE BIBLE .

HE came to let you know only the good that choose JESUS survive even though you were bad

You could be forgiven by saying

I am sorry

And say Yes to JESUS PLEASE rescue me.

HE WILL.

and then you are rescued .

But if you wanted to say NO and be with the evil choices in this world that does bad things

You will be choosing the Devil and what he does to convince you not to say yes to JESUS.

And you know you have to choose from doing good or bad things every day.

The only way for you to have the strength to do that

Is to choose JESUS who loves you.

Ask him into your heart

Say, I am sorry for my SINS.

And help me live by your strength and by your words of truth.

What are words of Truth?

Good question Pig.

It is all in The Bible HE had 40 special Prophets of GOD special people that heard the words of the HOLY SPIRIT IF GOD to write in 66 books.

To help you live this life on earth.

It is your book that guides the steps you need to live by so you are not deceived .

It is his story to guide not only your steps but sharing the truth with others so they can have a chance to have freedom from SIN too.

And when you don’t know something Pig do you know

What do you do?

Pig answered immediately, Yes

STOP

DROP

AND

PRAY.

Then you wait and listen.

Then repeat until the answer comes.

GOD will inspire you and guide you.

As you read this book because it is not just a book

It is alive with words made by the one who made each one of us.

He made each one of us special unto himself.

Special talents and gifts made just for you.

Your voice

Your finger and hand prints

Your appearance

Your personality

The real You .

You are body soul and Spirit

HE helps you to enjoy the life HE gave you.

And to help you discover HIS SON JESUS.

So you can live victoriously here in whatever

Amount of money you have.

Or whatever place HE places you.

He made the snowflake different from each other

Have you ever seen it snow?

Yes, Pig answers

Then imagine each one differs from the other

Do you know GOD KNOWS

how many hairs on your head?

And where you are now and what you think?

Even before you think it.

HE IS GOD.

Nothing is impossible for HIM.

HE WHO MADE EVERYTHING.

EACH CELL in your body.

Your DNA that makes who you are.

And then HE

GOD THE FATHER

GOD THE SON

GOD THE HOLY SPIRIT OF GOD

LOVES YOU forever and ever.

HE wants you to live with HIM after you choose

You decide

To live for yourself or to live for JESUS.

Choosing GOOD not EVIL or BAD THINGS.

WHEN YOU SAY YES TO JESUS.

Jesus sends the Holy Spirit to live inside your heart to protect you from the enemy of your soul.

His name is called the DEVIL or Satan or Lucifer.

Very popular around Halloween.

Because it seems it’s all pretend and fun to be scared

Or scary .

And ugly bloody scary stinky looking stuff ?

But if you really sit and think about it ?

Do you really enjoy FEAR so much more than you

Enjoy LOVE.or being in LOVE.?

Or being LOVED.

Hearing

A kind word spoken

A meal made just for you like I do for Pig

And Pancakes and fun memories made.

Seeing beautiful sunsets and sunrises

on the beach and the mountains and fresh air and playing in the water in the lake or water falls.

That’s what it is like inside when you know JESUS.

Not just hear about him.

But to know HIM.

Pray today and ask HIM into your heart,
