PIG Time goes by so Fast

Good Morning

We are writing now the Pig story for the day.

It’s gonna be about time.

And how we think that time will stand still for us.

That we don’t think that we change as much as we do.

As we enjoy the plans that we have daily.

We go to work or raising children what ever we are doing everyday or what we want to do taking no mind of the time passing by.

That’s funny Pig said.

You do not look the same as when I met you.

Thanks Pig.

As she continued,

It’s not that you are ugly now because you are more wrinkled

Or kinda more fatter.

Thanks Pig.

Your compliments are amazing.

I know, Pig said.

I just call them out as I see them.

Funny Pig.

I said.

Pig continued,

Go ahead and really look in the mirror.

Pig said.

I do it all the TIME she said.

I have changed too.

Do you see that word?

TIME.

Yes Pig, I replied.

Pig continued,

Because it is a wake up call

when you look in the mirror.

You are seeing YOU.

It’s the real YOU if you can see clearly

Without excuses or pretending.

Try this,

As YOU look in the mirror.

Now,think about what you look like when you were a child in school.

Or think about a vivid memory that was good and happy years ago.

Like playing on the playground.

Is this a trick Pig ? I asked.

No Pig said.

This clears your mind to see what is real and not real.

Yes, I know I am not real, Pig said.

Ok Pig.

I walked over to the mirror

and Pig watched me.

I said HELLO,

to myself and thought of a fun memory when I was in 8 th grade and wanted to wear make up for my school picture.

I had changed my mind because I didn’t want my Parents to be upset with me by trying to look older.

They knew that TIME goes by fast enough and would always say to stay young as long as I could without trying to look older.

They said, I was beautiful the way I was and just enjoy how I looked.

That was what I was thinking,as

I looked in the mirror.

As Pig looked at me looking at myself

I said,

My my, repeating my, how you have changed.

As I said this out loud.

I really looked at my self accepting what I was seeing in the mirror as me.

The almost 60 years that had gone by since then.

Where has the time went? Where did it go away so fast.

I looked at my kind face and my blue eyes with soft wrinkles and greying hair.

Then Pig and I started laughing.

Yep,I said to Pig.

I have changed since then.

It’s Ok, I said

My life has been an adventure since I have had you for almost forty years of it.

Pig said.

It’s been fun.

Let’s keep going until HE COMES.

There is a time for everything

And that’s a deep subject to explore.

First thing to do is to enjoy the day you have been given.

Psalm 118:24

This is the day that The Lord has made

Let us rejoice and be glad in it.

The Simple way to say,

Thank you to GOD in heaven above that GOD MADE for YOU this day.

You were born to be alive in this special time.

To do what ? Pig asked.

To fill your destiny.

To find out what you are talented with.

GOD said he gave everyone talents.

And then Pig said,

Yes,as Pig continued wondering what her talents were.

Then pig said and to be ready for when HE comes.

I replied

Revelation 1:7 read that one.

So before that, you need to have said in a Prayer of Salvation.

John 3:16

AS YOU HAVE SAID

YES, TO JESUS

and

Your then your name is in the BOOK of Salvation.

NOW YOU ARE READY TO GO WHEN ITS TIME.

Look at the times around us.

No guarantee of tomorrow? Not very fun to look at TV and News.

Not for anyone old or young.

So we pull up what we call our boot straps and get up standing up straight and take on the day. Then, enjoy your days given .

Or

if we are still finding ourself waiting

For JESUS RETURN.Do something good. We know life and problems and things just happen.

Like stupid stuff happens like car accidents or being in the wrong place in the wrong place in time or health stuff and just like that your life just changes or ends.

We must always be ready. To be prepared is a good feeling with your house in order.

Your papers and files in order.

Whether end of our days or when

JESUS COMES BACK.

Yes, Pig there is time for everything.

Playing and eating your pancakes,

Weddings and College and babies and animals and dogs and kittens

And fun and challenges to grow.

And then bad stuff like

War and then happier stuff like vacations and Celebrations.

Read Ecclesiastes 3:1-8

And then Pig, as she is looking at me

Then the TIME comes WHEN IT’S UP.

It went by so fast.

GOD says to measure your days.

Read Psalm 39.

How do we do that ?

Pig asked.

Live each day as if this was your last one.

Be the kind and be the loving person you want to be remembered for.

And Share The Salvation message with everyone you can.

Be ready to see GOD.

So HE CAN SAY :

WELL DONE YOU GOOD

AND

FAITHFUL SERVANT

ENTER INTO THE JOY OF YOUR SALVATION.

Mathew 25:21-23

So TODAY LET US REJOICE

and

PRAY

and

GIVE THANKS.

Pig said, Ok.

As we prayed

THE LORDS PRAYER.

and then we both said,

AMEN.
