I responded.

I find what is important is to start at the beginning and share what you know is true and what you can do to share.

I will ask for help and

Try to catch up to technology to be able to share to encourage and tell stories that are fun and good.

Like stories about you Pig and Mother and Granny.

What it was like to be a child back then.

And how some things never Change.

Like what? Pig asked.

PANCAKES.

That’s funny, Pig said.

You may put them in a different skillet that we use

But it is the same recipe.

I know what could be different.

Pig said.

What? I asked.

Pig said, Syrup.

Instead of real maple syrup they could make

Boysenberry or strawberry or peach syrup.

Funny Pig.

Good idea.

But

That’s not new.

The people back then also made different

syrups of what ever they had with sugar.

They used black strap molasses and made Jonny cakes with corn meal which is a pancake too.

Yep. That’s not new Pig.

But good thinking of new things to try.

Pancakes are affordable for breakfast or anytime that brought friends and families together.

Not just pancakes but affordable meals like beans and corn bread or burritos.

Home made breads and vegetable soup and add any

Meat or bone available to make it more hardy.

Pig said, A bone and meat in your delicious vegetable soup?

With her face all scrunched up and

Looking at me with her ears back.

Ready to bite me.

I said.

Oh, I forgot you don’t like stories or recipes about

Nothing that has a face on it that is to be eaten.

No hot dogs or hamburgers or pork chops.

Funny Pig.

I will be more sensitive about your friends.

Friends are important .

It is amazing how important friends are that you know and that are with you.

Friends that have an ear to listen to us when we need someone to Talk to, that we call our friends.

I thinks of the movie Toy Story.

And the song:

In the cartoon Movie

they have a group of toys that all play together and they

talk and comfort one another when no one sees them.

Pig says, Just like all toys and dolls do.

That’s what I believe.

Pig said..

That’s pretend, I said.

but I like that idea that you believe that too.

You have such imagination and fun ideas to listen to.

I like that Movie.

Pig said.

I know you do and so did I.

The Movie was fun to watch.

But you do know Pig there is one that is a closer friend than anyone could ever be.

Who?

Pig asked.

And then, I said HIS name is

JESUS.

I know that, Pig said.

HE is my Friend and my Lord and My Savior.

HE loves me.

I talk to JESUS all the time and I know

HE HEARS ME.

I like the song

JESUS LOVES ME .

I do too.

Pig.

I said.

I also like friend songs that people sing about GOD, Like what a friend we have in JESUS too.

I also liked the song that Carol King wrote

and JAMES Taylor sang too,

when I was a teenager.

WOW, Pig said that was a long time ago wasn’t it?

Stop it Pig. You are funny but I still loved that song and memory.

Pig smiled.

Being a little comedic.

You have a friend ..

Both of them singing it was recorded that way too.

You have a friend.

As they sang together.

Just call out my name

And they would be there sharing their love

and

devotion to their friendship no matter day or night

Or winter spring summer or fall

That

All you have to do

Is call

And they would be there ..

You have a friend.

The same with JESUS, Pig.

BUT EVEN MORE.

We can call HIM DAY or NIGHT

HE doesn’t sleep.

HE is always by our side.

We call on HIM

AND HE US THERE.

HE sends love to our heart to comfort us.

I know we can’t hug HIM HERE.

Like a friend would do.

But HE HUGS US INSIDE

and

JESUS gives us what we need.

HE Directs our thoughts and our steps and heals our hearts.

Love us with an everlasting love and renews a right Spirit in us and forgives our sins.

As we ask HIM to like in

THE LORDS PRAYER.

Mathew 6:9-13

HE gives us everlasting life so we can be with

HIM forever.

John 3:16

HE will never leave us or forsake us.

Even until the end of time..

Deuteronomy 31:6

HE WILL answer your prayers.

So if you need a friend here on earth,

PRAY ONE IN.

In the meantime,

JESUS is there for you to PRAY with you.

Just CALL on HIS NAME

and Prayers answered and Comfort is ALREADY

on their way.

Tells the miraculous story of a

prayer answered.

JESUS will send to you in your HEART

and In YOUR MIND.

Just ask,

And you will receive.

We are BLESSED to find a radio station here that is uplifting and to find the

CHRISTMAS STATION and Old fashion and new FRIEND SONGS TOO.

Pig asked, How do you find that?

Each area has a radio station to search out.

You have to look Pig.

Search the dial on your radio or ask your computer where is this station to listen to?

There is a lot of Bible stories out there and movies.

Some for children and some family hour of a story read to you like in the good Ol days.

HOPE is still there as we Look to JESUS.

and to our family and to give honor and respect for one another.

Also

REMEMBER Pig,

Not everyone is joyful at HOLIDAY TIMES.

Sometimes

Any holiday that makes them feel more alone or remember loss .

We need to send out more love and care to them to all we know.

Remembering loved ones that are no longer with us.

And the pain we bare in those memories and the feeling of great lost and emptiness

However, for Pig and me

We remember to

PRAY

IMMEDIATELY

AS WE CASTING ALL OUR CARES ON

As Pig interrupts,

Pig asked what does it mean to

Cast?

I responded,

Do you fish ?

Or have you seen anyone with a fishing pole?

You lean back with your rod and reel called fishing pole.

And with the reel you release the line.

And Throw the line out to CAST IT OUT ONTO THE WATER.

Pig,

that’s what we do in Prayer to

GOD.

We give

ALL OUR CARES AND BURDENS TO

HIM.

It’s to BIG to carry on our own.

SO WE HAVE TO DO IT FAST.

NOT TO THINK on it.

Not a minute longer.

NO

Worry or fear or sadness or loss.

So Quickly we do this Pig tell me why?

Because the Why is?

Pig answered,

We don’t want to be afraid or worry any more

BECAUSE

It’s to much on our mind so,

HE IS THE ONE WE RUN TO FAST.

HE IS THE ONE WE PRAY TOO.

HE IS THE ONE THAT COMFORT US.

HE takes away

THE PAIN and FEAR

AND

ALL OUR SORROWS.

HE HELPS US KNOW HIM AS THE FRIEND THAT NEVER LEAVES US

HE IS GENTLE AND KIND.

HE IS THE ONE THAT HELPS US REST

AS HE COMFORTS OUR MIND

AND

GIVES REST TO OUR BODY.

GIVES PEACE TO OUR THOUGHTS

AND RESTORES OUR SOUL.

So, Pig in todays story we are writing today as

we cherish our friends here like

A special present

GOD has given us.

To have a friend is to be a friend

Mother always said that .

And to know maybe those you meet today may be your next

friend.

If you want a friend,

Pray today and ask GOD TO SEND YOU ONE.

PIg said, AS she pulls on her pink fur trying to pull on it out trying to see HIM inside her fur.

You mean HE IS INSIDE ME.

Romans 8 read the whole chapter and be amazed.

I answered.

If Pig you were real HE WOULD BE INSIDE YOU.

Pig continued,

1.Does it hurt to have HIM inside there?

2.HOW does HE get in there anyway ?

3.Do you feel different ?

4.Can anyone see HE is in there ?

5.Does HE make you look fatter

Because there is more than ONE

YOU in there ?

Well, Pig those are good questions.

Let’s start at the top.

1.No, it does not hurt to have HIM

in there as you put it.

In fact it’s a joy and a comfort on a constant basis as you ackknowledge

HIS PRESENCE in prayer.

2. HE gets in there the moment you say YES TO JESUS as YOUR LORD and SAVIOR.

HE CHANGES YOUR HEART

AND

COMFORTS YOU AND BRINGS YOU JOY OF SPIRIT

AS JESUS SAVED YOUR SOUL

AND PUT YOU IN RIGHT STANDING

WITH GOD.

3.YES.

PIG YOU FEEL DIFFERENT.

I FORGET SOMETIMES HOW

I FELT

WITHOUT HIM IN MY HEART.

THE LONENESS AND EMPTINESS

LOOKING FOR LOVE

AND

NEVER SATISFIED INSIDE.

UNTIL JESUS CAME INTO MY HEART.

4. Can anyone see HE IS IN THERE

YES .. And NO.

IT DEPENDS IF YOU ARE SHARING

JESUS WITH OTHERS  and

LETTING YOUR LIGHT SHOW

SO OTHERS CAN SEE by the way you talk now.

The PEACE you have inside and your gentleness of Spirit.

Mathew 7:15-20

GOD SAYS YOU WILL KNOW THEM  BY THEIR FRUITS.

IS YOUR FRUIT YOU GIVE OUT IN WHAT YOU DO AND SAY

BAD OR GOOD?

THATS how they will know.

5.Does GOD MAKE YOU LOOK FATTER

BECAUSE HE IS IN THERE?

I THOUGHT that WAS THE FUNNEST

TO ANSWER

At first I thought that was silly.

But really isn’t silly at all.

But NO.

HE doesn’t make you fatter.

He makes you

BETTER THAN YOU WERE BEFORE.

BECAUSE YOU ARE HIS BABY

NO MATTER HOW OLD YOU THINK YOU ARE IS Or WHAT YOUR AGE

YOU SEEM TO BE

HE IS YOUR HEAVENLY FATHER.

HE doesn’t make you fatter

HE makes you wiser.

HE IS ALWAYS THERE FOR YOU NO MATTER WHAT

HE IS THERE.

HE is the GREAT I AM

HE is whatever you need.

HE COMFORTS YOU AND DRYS YOUR TEARS AND CATCHES THEM IN A BOTTLE HE SAVES

PSALM 56:8

JUST LIKE EARTHLY PARENTS

WE SEE ARE CHILDREN

AS OUR BABIES BECAUSE WE REMEMBER THEIR HUMBLE BEGINNINGS.

We use to bottle feed them or nurse them.

To gave the food at proper amounts.

WE DON’T want to over feed

Just enough with good things to eat.

But I think there is a part two Pig to your question do we get fatter?

To this answer I say YES .

Sometimes.

As CHRISTIANS WHO LOVE GOD WITH OUR HEART AND SOUL

AND

MIND

AND

BODY

We sometime find the church is not enough time to be with each other.

So Pig,

We create events like pot lucks.

Home made goodies and include that mind set in at our gatherings and go to restaurants together and talk and laugh and rejoice and pray

EAT…EAT..EAT…EAT.

and enjoy ourselves and not always thinking of calorie intake.

So we do tend to gain some weight by our fellowship together.

So, the gym is a good idea too.

It balances that out if we go?

Most don’t.

So, YES to that question we do seem to get a little bit MORE FLUFFY Pig.

JUST LIKE YOU Pig.

More like JESUS in everthing we do.

With JESUS ON OUR MIND.
