Good Morning

This is the day that THE LORD

has made I will rejoice and be glad in it.

Pig asked, is this a different kind of day from the rest of them?

No, Pig. Some days you just feel more excited in your heart with expectations for the day.

Haven't you ever felt like that?

You are just excited waking up like something good was going to happen for you ?

Yes Pig said, I have .

Like going on a trip or having blueberry syrup on my pancakes or meeting some one new to share the love of GOD with. And then I smile, and make them laugh.

That's a really good memory Pig. I said.

In contrast of that, I was thinking about Job.

I was thinking about how glad that book is in the Bible.

I was thinking about how when we feel like we are going through big troubles in our life or sorrows or pain unfairly.

I think of the story of Job and glad it is in the there. It gives me a strange comfort to know that Job could go through all that suffering and did nothing wrong. He stood strong standing on the hope and delivererance on GOD alone. HE did not Sin against GOD.

What an example to live up to.

It is said Pig, that it is the oldest book written in the Bible .

Are you sure? Pig asked. Well, not yet.

I do know, that all the books are true but not in chronological order.

I am just going with it for now.

I know when I read the entire book of JOB it was difficult to read.

How come? Pig asked.

Well, to know that a really good and righteous man was being allowed to suffer.

To have all his children die and have everything he ever had, taken away in just one day.

That's terrible, Pig said.

I know. I want to tell you Pig, it gets worse .

To add more sorrow to Job, the devil had to ask permission to GOD to afflict Job's body. GOD said ok. but not permission to kill him. HE, GOD was proving then and now that the ability to Honor and Love and Serve GOD through it all, was Possible.

So Job became an example to us all. GOD showed the true love of GOD by man in all this showing Satan and us all to this day. Job was not told he was in a test. Just like in life we go through tests unaware, but not ever to this magnitude.

Then, If that wasn't bad enough Pig, his best buddies didn't believe he was innocent of such affliction by GOD. They thought not, it could be by the devil.They didn't know it was a test to prove Job would be able to stand firm in his convictions and his loyalty to GOD.

Pig didn't say anything but you could see that she was upset. Her ears were back like a horse and she was still.

I know the way she was feeling because, you would always expect friends to stay by your side, when troubles come.

And then Pig, I told her even one more thing to get her going. Pig said, more bad stuff?

Yes, Pig More.

Now, even his own wife turned against him, because of her not able to bear his pain and his distress and his appearance and the stink from the boils placed on his body.

This was such torture and agony not only his body but on his mind and for his wife to see him like that, it hurt her too. Job had day and night suffrering scraping the boils with sharp rocks to relieve some pain. He really contiued in pain and absent of sleep.

Then she, JOBS WIFE says to her husband, why don't you curse GOD and die?

He answered back to her and said, you foolish woman, shouldn't we not take the good things as well as the bad?

We came into this life with nothing and we will leave the same way.

In everthing give thanks to the one who made us all.

In all this, Job did not SIN against GOD.

Wow, Pig said that's a terrible story .

It is not Pig.

Ok. It was terrible for Job, for sure but not for us because we know now, bad things can happen to good people.

We don't know why ? Only GOD does.

GOD delivered him and showed us that GOD IS GOD.

HE will take us through it all and how Satan tries to hurt us and without permission

He can do nothing.

Satan, is the GOD of this world and his job every day is to steal kill and destroy. JOHN 10:10

But, GOD says, I have come to bring life and for you to have it more abundantly.

In contrast to the devil the enemy of your soul.

JESUS, comes to give life and wants you to prosper.

That's good, Pig said. I know and I am grateful. Me too, Pig said, holding her head up towards the ceiling, looking up as if being in reverence to GOD.

GOD turned it all around for Job.

Job did not know that GOD, had bragged about him to Satan and that GOD said,

Job was a wonderful servant of GOD.

Satan complained that GOD had put a hedge around him, so Satan couldn't get to him.

This is a secret in this story .

Remember the power of prayer and when you pray, remember to ask GOD for that hedge around you and your family.

Now, Job

he was sad, of his loss and in his suffering as he was in great pain wondering, why he was ever even born?

And then GOD SPOKE out of a whirlwind.

Pig said, wait, wait, wait, GOD really Spoke to Job, that Job could actually hear?

Yes, Pig. Wow.......

HE asked Job, Where were you when I created the universe? and then GOD continued speaking, let me know if you can loosen Orions belt ? Or put Betelgeuse the star that runs wild in the universe or can you place perfectly everything in the right place in the universe that I have made and in its seasons?

Look at all the things I have made.

As Job is being humbled in HIS greatness and magnifcence and wonder and more.

Pig, as GOD is talking, HE also talking of dinosaurs and dragons that breathe fire and unicorns and wonders of the earth and vaults of water and hail and snow and marvels.

This is a book to read completly through and be encouraged .

Pig said, that sounds amazing. Could you read it to me ? Yes Pig, but not today. Pig said, ok but not to forget and I assured her I would not forget.

Read JOB 38:31-34

There is so much said there in the book of JOB. I need to copy scripture .

Just think during all this time his best friends are condemning him day and night as this is suppose to be their big comfort to Job?

Job said to them that they were miserable comforters.

They are giving thier opinions about GOD and what they know and life as his great friends and it's not a little opinion to Job it goes on for chapters and chapters and days. They are all saying you are lying to us.

Saying, you must have a hidden SIN because no one could have just done nothing, to have ALL this happen to them by GOD..

Pig said yeah, I don't get it either?

Let me paste the scripture when GOD is talking to Job. Ok. Pig said, good idea.

42 Then Job answered the Lord, and said,

2 I know that thou canst do every thing, and that no thought can be withholden from thee.

3 Who is he that hideth counsel without knowledge? therefore have I uttered that I understood not; things too wonderful for me, which I knew not.

4 Hear, I beseech thee, and I will speak: I will demand of thee, and declare thou unto me.

5 I have heard of thee by the hearing of the ear: but now mine eye seeth thee.

6 Wherefore I abhor myself, and repent in dust and in ashes.

So Pig, GOD has just talked about all kinds of wonders in a lots of previous chapters and you would have to read them ALL to know, just a small part of THE MAJESTY OF GOD.

But in all this Job didn't sin, even at Job's complaining and GOD was pleased with him.

Job's attitude was repentive and HIS worship by acknowledging who GOD is and who he is. Job was in the midst of being in the presence of GOD. His heart was humbled and in awe.

GOD is BIG isn't HE? Pig said.

Yes, Pig I replied, HE IS.

7 And it was so, that after the Lord had spoken these words unto Job, the Lord said to Eliphaz the Temanite, My wrath is kindled against thee, and against thy two friends: for ye

have not spoken of me the thing that is right, as my servant Job hath.

8 Therefore take unto you now seven bullocks and seven rams, and go to my servant Job, and offer up for yourselves a burnt offering; and my servant Job shall pray for you: for him will I accept: lest I deal with you after your folly, in that ye have not spoken of me the thing which is right, like my servant Job.

9 So Eliphaz the Temanite and Bildad the Shuhite and Zophar the Naamathite went, and did according as the Lord commanded them: the Lord also accepted Job.

10 And the Lord turned the captivity of Job, when he prayed for his friends: also the Lord gave Job twice as much as he had before.

11 Then came there unto him all his brethren, and all his sisters, and all they that had been of his acquaintance before, and did eat bread with him in his house: and they bemoaned him, and comforted him over all the evil that the Lord had brought upon him: every man also gave him a piece of money, and every one an earring of gold.

12 So the Lord blessed the latter end of Job more than his beginning: for he had fourteen thousand sheep, and six thousand camels, and a thousand yoke of oxen, and a thousand she asses.

13 He had also seven sons and three daughters.

14 And he called the name of the first, Jemima; and the name of the second, Kezia; and the name of the third, Kerenhappuch.

15 And in all the land were no women found so fair as the daughters of Job: and their father gave them inheritance among their brethren.

16 After this lived Job an hundred and forty years, and saw his sons, and his sons' sons, even four generations.

17 So Job died, being old and full of days.

This is the end of this story in The Book ofJOB.

But the in between parts in the book that I couldn't copy is amazing .

It talks about Pride of man and how that was the downfall of those of his friends thinking they knew it all.

Just as the heavenly Angels that were tricked in believing life without GOD and their decisions are better including the leader

Called Lucifer now called Satan.

How, that can be our downfall too.

So be careful and sit or stand or kneel humbly before GOD THE CREATOR OF ALL THINGS.

To know what Job went through and in all this and He did not SIN. This should give us strength and direction.

Pig said

That GOD is with you through it all.

With all the good things that had come his way


Is it any wonder you could hear Job say

THE LORD giveth and HE taketh away...I'll still give HIM THANKS


But when the tables were all turned around 
and Job's world came crashing down


His faith in GOD caused Job to say

I WILL still give HIM THANKS.


When troubles come and there is no one around


Satan tries to tell you that GOD has let you down


But through every dark hour the best thing I have found


Is to give my GOD THANKS


For HE has never

HE has never failed me yet


So why should I start now to worry or fret


In everything I WILL NOT ever forget to give GOD THE THANKS

Repeat :in EVERTHING GIVE HIM THANKS

IN EVERTHING GIVE HIM THANKS

IN THE GOOD TIMES

PRAISE HIS NAME

IN THE BAD TIMES DO THE SAME

IN EVERTHING GIVE THE KING OF KING ALL THE THANKS.

Pig said, How can you do that ?

Without GOD in your heart

You can't .

But GOD IS GOD

and we can do all things in Christ that strengthens us.

Philippians 4:19

HE is with us through it all .

This is a fallen world and we can make it through it all with JESUS

IN OUR HEART

IN OUR LIFE FILLED

WITH

THE HOLY SPIRIT OF GOD.

Remember Pig, GOD wants the best for us.

Pig asks,

Is that when we asked JESUS came into our heart to forgive us of our sins

And we became HIS children ?

We can say be with me always.

Yes, Pig

HE is never leaving you ever .

We do not know the mind of GOD or HIS REASONS?

When things happen good or bad or the miracles or healings of GOD .

We just need to TRUST GOD.

Remember Jeremiah 29:11

For I know the plans I have for you

DECLARES THE LORD

PLANS to prosper you

And not harm you

PLANS to give you hope and a future.

So the book of JOB has many lessons and fascinating stories of creation, it's a good one to read .
