This the day that the Lord has made I will rejoice in it

Good Morning

From Pig and me and Mr. Cat.

The day started early around 4 :00 .

Mr. Cat started that crying saying I think I need food now.

Kind of like my Donkey Daisy mae from years ago.

He wouldn't stop.

I figure he was in distress.

I checked on him and turned the little light on for him.

He seemed happier.

I wonder Pig asked, If Cats ever have bad dreams and need comforting?

I don't know Pig, I said.

He seemed ok until surise and then he started again and just wanted outside and I said go. And then he wouldn't unless I went with him.

Funny Cat.

So, I walked around with him outside as he was so close to my side of my leg like a dog would.

Then I noticed a bucket on my roof ?

A new mystery why is that up there?

My friend is coming after work to check our roof and bucket mystery.

Then we both came inside satisfied he got to go outside.

I guess?

Pig asked, Whats up with that cat anyway?

He ate his breakfast and I went out to the front Porch Praying and just sitting and Planning my day.

Thinking to myself did I feel good enough to do ALL the things I had in my mind to do?

As i was holding that thought.

Pig said, The Cat is doing it again and wants to be with you outside I guess.

Funny Pig.

I think you are right.

I walked him through the house quickly and he was happy to be outside with me.

I pet him and then as Cats do being independent.

He jumped the gate and started playing in the flower garden I was making.

Happy Cat at last.

I have not made Pigs Breakfast and I realized this is day number 4 on my antibiotics and still not quite well yet.

So all my Plans other than a quick oatmeal breakfast will be all Ican do today for Pig and me.

She asked , May I have a few drops of maple syrup on it?

Sure Pig I said.

Why not?

That sounds fun to me.

We both sofly sung the words to:

This is the day that THE LORD HAS MADE.

We will rejoice and be glad in it as my throat was still in distress.

Psalm 118:24

The Phone Rang and my friend on the phone said, Are you READY TO PRAY?

As we always do every morning.

We both agree it is our most favorite time of the day.

We Pray for our needs and for our familys, neighbors and friends.

We Pray for this United States of America our Nation.

We Pray Protection for Our President and leaders of all areas of our Capital and Congress.

Peace and Restoration and revival for us and for The Peace Of Israel.

We Pray for the children every where to be safe.

We Pray for our Military and Veterans and All fields of helping.

Doctors and nurses and Police and fireman and teachers.

We Pray for the Pastors to be very strong and Read the whole Bible and not be afraid to share what it really says. ALL PEOPLE YOUNG AND OLD NEED TO KNOW TRUTH.

John 3:16 " For GOD so loved the world, that HE gave HIS only begotton SON,

That whosoever believeth in HIM should not perish, but have everlasting life."

THEN :We Pray the AMOUR OF GOD ON.

After saying THE LORDS PRAYER that JESUS gave as a model Prayer.

We Thank GOD for never leaving us or forsaking us even until the end of time.

Deuteronomy 31:8

We feel empowered for the day.

So excited that GOD who made each of us has a plan for our lives every day.

Then we discuss the things placed on our hearts and start out our day.

Mine was pretty simple as the vitamins and couch was calling me as no real jump in my body had happened so far to do much else.

The scripture to my mind was BE STILL AND KNOW I AM GOD.

PSALM 46 :10

I read Psalm 46 and it was encouraging and Pig knew I was not talking much so she read it with me too, as she was on my lap.

I made a quick phone call to my friend I hadn't heard from.

With thoughts of kind of feeling sorry for myself a little with my list a mile long to do,

and unable to do so.

I know in my heart in time this will Pass and I know GOD is with us.

I called and then no answer and then the phone rang back to me.

I was so glad to her his voice.

He is 87 and just got back from a Mens Christian Retreat and he volunteered his voice to sing.

He was the oldest Man there.

He said it was an honor to be invited to sing and glad to have a moment to be stregthened.

If you ever saw the MOVIE What about BOB, Bob indeed needed a vacation.

The prescription give in the movie was take a vacation from ALL your problems.

A TIME OUT in a very good way to be refreshed inside and out.

The men there were impressed with his six pack on his chest and stomach,

So many questions how do you stay in such good shape?

One. He is married to the same wife that loves GOD.

Two. They both have health issues but believe in VITAMINS to heal. AS WELL AS PRAYER.

Three. He eats good food. REAL FOOD

Four. HE GIVES.

He GIVES of himself and others and rarely saying NO.

He GIVES THANKS TO GOD EVERYDAY HE LIVES

He has a fun saying he says that I am unable to remember it correctly to give it Honor that encorages all who hear it.

He SINGS EVERYWHERE HE GOES.

He began sharing this long list of trials and attacks on his credit cards and body with a surgery and a list of circumstanceson him and his family.

His favorite thing he says to me as he shares his life and trials, THAT IT IS NOT A SURPRISE TO GOD.

In the midst of all that, he was trying to help me find the few pieces of tile I needed to fix a drainage problem.

ALSO,Helping this young kid and his sister with the basics of life and driving him almost 4 hours a day up and back to finish his nursing school and supporting him to help him get to his part time job as he is the only one left in the family to raise his 13 year old sister, They live on Pennys.

Dad and Mother and Grandmother and Grandpa GONE.

All alone here now.

Pig and I look at ourselves not feeling great physically but encouraged to Pray and write this story to say:

Mother always said, The minute you decide to complain there is ALWAYS A LARGER STORY OF NEED AND DISTRESS.

Mother never discounted our trials or Pain she just wanted us to keep it all in prospective. Pig asked, what does that mean exactly?

First don't make it BIGGER THAN IT IS.

Instead of COMPLAINING ?

COUNT YOUR BLESSINGS.

OH, Pig said.

I told her to : Write them down and look at them.

This way you can always remember when you need to see them again.

You will feel better Pig.

It always worked for my sister and me even if we didn't write it down.

We just started thinking of the good stuff instead of the bad.

I suggested to reach out at our Group that meet on Thursday with just enough to get him at a to a place OF HAVING A LITTLE to have the food and gas and electricty NEEDED.

There are many Places that can help with resourses that everyone else that comes here and gets the needed help. He has been trying t take him there too.

He said, He would keep trying.

Just think with all the the things going on his mind is on others.

That is why he is 87 and living as a strong EXAMPLE FOR OTHERS TO FOLLOW.

In fact that is how I met him as I was Praying on the Phone with my friend on speaker phone he had come in to fix my airconditioner at the hotel.

I was waiting for Our escrow to close.

As he was there hearing the requests made to GOD OUR CREATOR.

He came in agreement with us both in Prayer.

After we had hung up.

He sang to me a JESUS SONG.

Invited me to his Thursday Sonrise fellowship Church.

We were both invited to his Sunday Churches and Churches he sang for.

This is a man who loves GOD.

Even though he doesn't read my Pig stories. But some of the people there do.

I know he is glad I write them for others to know more

about GOD and HIS SON JESUS and fun ways to share a story with a pretend Pig who loves Pancakes and Prays.

I am encouraged and honored to know men of GOD like this.

Pig said, Me too.

So Pig I am resting in that HE will take care of me and you and our loved ones and our neighbors and friends and everything happening in this world. HE IS IN CONTROL.

Our story from Pig and me.

We will go back to our bed to rest now.

Count our blessings and say THANK YOU TO GOD THAT HE IS WITH US ALL.

Just knowing GOD is in control.
