Pig asked GOD, How is it we forget about you so quickly?

Good Morning

Pig is looking out the window waiting for her breakfast.

Pancakes

Real Butter and

Real maple syrup with ice cold milk .

She has her shower cap on and even though she doesn’t take showers, she does wash her face and feet and belly if she has dirt spots on her.

She looks so cute it’s hard for me to be serious when she asks me questions.

Pig asked, While still praying to GOD looking out the window and asking me questions too.

How is it we forget about GOD so easily?

I responded,

That has been a question through out the entire BIBLE.

The children of ISRAEL forgot the miracles of GOD

in the wilderness of 40 years .

Exodus 13-21 And the Lord went before them by day in a pillar of a cloud, to lead them the way; and by night in a pillar of fire, to give them light; to go by day and night:

22 He took not away the pillar of the cloud by day, nor the pillar of fire by night, for before the people.

GOD creator of heaven and earth opened up the sea so the children could walk on dry land by the staff of MOSES.

Exodus 14:22

22 And the children of Israel went into the midst of the sea upon the dry ground: and the waters were a wall unto them on their right hand, and on their left.

Water was given in the desert by Moses asking GOD

for provision and then even Moses didn’t listen when he struck the rock when GOD said,

To speak to the rock.

GOD knew the children were thirsty.

Numbers 20:1-12

But Moses struck the rock instead of speaking to it.

Because he disobeyed and he was representing GOD

Moses was not allowed into the land of milk and honey which is Israel .

Instead Joshua and Caleb went in and all those under the age of 20

Numbers 14:2

All those that grumbled and complained died in the wilderness.

A young NATION .

Pig GOD who made them and us all was kind and loving.

However,

Our Heavenly Father lets us know your decisions

Your actions give consequences.

Not all went into the promised land.

HE gave them a cloud covering to walk under so they didn’t get burnt by the hot sun.

A pillar of fire to guide them through the night.

Exodus13: 21

Moses was there as a spokesman for GOD and

GOD did give water from the rock and bread from heaven called manna.

Pig asked, Did it taste like pancakes?

Well, Pig I said, A little bit.

It was white wavers that were sweet and It had all the nutrients that you needed for the day.

Maybe even crunchy?

My guess is that they added water and made other things with it.

It is noted they boiled it and prepared it.

Pig interrupted,

Like Pancakes?

Maybe, I said .

It’s not written exactly what they did other than gathering it up and having extra food for the day for Saturday.

I found it Pig.

After the people gathered the manna, they made it into flour by grinding it with hand mills or crushing it with mortars.

Then they boiled the manna in pots and made it into flat cakes.

These cakes tasted like pastries baked with olive oil. (Numbers 11:8)  

So Pig it could of tasted like Pancakes.

I knew it Pig said, The perfect food.

Funny Pig.

Now

On the sixth day at sun down on Friday until the next day sundown

Which was a Saturday was there Sabbath.

This was their Church day of rest and dancing and Praising GOD.

Pig, even though GOD said, DO NOT leave anything left over for the next day.

Some of the people did anyway only to wake up to wormy maggot food that was stinky.

Only on FRIDAY were they allowed to gather extra

For GOD blessed them and provided with a blessing

Of goodness no wormmies Pig.

Because the next day was SABBOTH DAY .

HE didn’t want them to work but rest and enjoy

The day that GOD HAD GIVEN THEM.

Why can’t they do what GOD said?

Pig asked.

The food was new and fresh every Morning.

Laziness of not wanting to get up and gather daily everyday is the answer.

And….

Not listening to GOD.

Exodus chapter 16 is a good quick read to understand more.

The love of GOD as well as HIS discipline to them.

Pig this is a good question

Why do we constantly forget when GOD answers our prayer?

Or we think that GOD is to small to fix it?

You know the miracles that GOD has done for you.

Each of us in our lives..

Why do we forget?

Pig answered

I think we leak. Pig said.

Yep that’s what it is.

We leak out of our memory.

If we don’t keep filling up with GODS WORD Daily and then :

STOP

DROP

and

PRAY

We forget about HIS GOODNESS .

GOD made the Passover for the Israelites to

REMEMBER what GOD did

GOD who created them and us all.

Remember,Remember, Remember, that

HE TOOK YOU OUT OF YOUR BONDAGE.

Exodus 12:14-28

Pig today this is faded memory even though the tradition is still held .

The people celebrate but it has lost its power of

Greatness in the heart of GODS PEOPLE.

Pig it is not just them it is us too.

We accept JESUS as LORD and SAVIOR

HE FORGIVES US

GUIDES US

TAKES IS OUT OF OUR BONDAGES.

We forget to Pray

We forget to give Thanks

We forget that we have a heavenly home when we leave from here.

We forget our names are in THE LAMBS BOOK OF LIFE..

We forget how much HE LOVES US..

We forget HE SEES US.

We forget HE HEARS US.

We forget HE THINKS ABOUT US ALL THE TIME.

We forget HE IS BIG, Onimpotent ..EVER PRESENT

We forget HE NUMBERS THE STARS AND NAMES THEM

We forget HE KNOWS how many hairs on our head.

We forget HE knows our thoughts before we think them.

HE knows us.

Nothing is hidden .

And the biggest of all is HE STILL LOVES US.

So today with humble heart we will remember

HIS GOODNESS

and

HIS LOVE and SALVATION

By praying and asking forgiveness

Saying YES to JESUS..

Re dedicating our lives back to HIM as

JESUS OUR LORD .

Pig asked,

taught HIS DICIPLES

How to pray as a guideline to Prayer ?

Together we prayed out loud.

OUR FATHER

WHO ART IN HEAVEN

HALLOWED BE THY NAME

THY KINGDOM COME

THY WILL BE DONE

ON EARTH AS IT IS IN HEAVEN

GIVE US THIS DAY OUR DAILY BREAD

AND

FORGIVE US OUR TRESPASSES ( SINS)

AS WE FORGIVE THOSE WHO TRESPASS (SIN)

AGAINST US

AND LEAD US NOT INTO TEMPTATION

BUT

DELIVER US FROM EVIL.

FOR THINE IS THE KINGDOM

AND

THE POWER

AND

THE GLORY

FOREVER AND EVER

AMEN

GOD THE SON -JESUS

GOD THE HOLY SPIRIT
