GOD Pig and Me are back with the Spirit of Thank you

Good Morning

Pig is by my side.

Our bed has many fluffy pillows.

Our food is broth.

No Pancakes yet can we eat.

Pig asked,

When can we have those yummy

Pancakes?

Funny Pig, I said.

Food is important and joyful to have your belly full.

But GOD knows when Pancakes are ready for the body that as we know are fun to eat ?

It is important to know that the body that

HE GAVE US .

Has gone through surgery Pig.

Time heals the parts removed and repaired.

We have had one operations with many parts inside the body that has been waiting 6 months to be repaired.

Nurses and Teams of Doctors who are the repairers called surgeons.

We say THANK YOU.

Angels have been with us and protecting them and us

And GOD

OUR LORD and Savior has given us Favor.

Deuteronomy 31:8 Pig.

Look that one up.

HE goes before me and directs my path

HE never leaves me or forsakes me .

HE LOVES US.

HE Wants you to know who HE IS.

And

Not to be deceived by the distractions of this world

HE made.

The choices that we make daily

To serve ourselves

Or

THE ONE who made us.

Choose this day who you will serve

Starts out our Prayer FIRST GOD.

I chose the way of THE LORD.

As we pray together Pig :

THE LORDS PRAYER

OUR FATHER

WHO ART IN HEAVEN

HALLOWED BE THY NAME

THY KINGDOM COME

THY WILL BE DONE ON EARTH

AS IT IS IN HEAVEN

GIVE US THIS DAY OUR DAILY BREAD

AND

FORGIVE US OUR TRESPASSES

AS WE FORGIVE OTHERS

WHO TRESPASS AGAINST US

AND

LEAD US NOT INTO TEMPTATION

BUT DELIVER US

FROM EVIL

FOR THINE IS

THE

KINGDOM

AND

THE POWER

AND

THE GLORY

FOREVER AND EVER

AMEN.

We start like that giving us the attitude of

Thanksgiving .

A meal of words to give to GOD

as

HE fills us up with HIS WORD

HIS LOVE

HIS PROTECTION

HIS COMFORT

HIS FORGIVENESS.

Wow, Pig says and there is no Pancakes in there.

I know.

But just the same we are full inside because

HE is with us.

HE knows what we need at that moment.

We give HIM our THANKS.

With our broken hearts .

With all of our needs.

Giving our fears away to HIM.

as

HE COMFORTS us back to

HOPE

FAITH

and

LOVE

As we give

our

TRUST in HIM.

In our weakness

We become strong again in HIM.

When we need HELP

or

Joy or Faith or HOPE in Praising HIM

THE ONE

who made us.

We go to the book of Psalms

Pig.

Why? Pig asked.

As I replied,

To know how to live and make wise choices

We go to Psalm 1.

As you will read what not to do

And learning the wisdom of GOD to know

HIS WORD what to do.

Meditating on HIS WORD day and night

Comes with a great reward.

To the one most people have heard is

Psalm 23 for comfort and encouragement to know

That GOD leads you

Takes you through your fears and makes you realize it is shadows of deception but HE is with you through them all

And places you by still waters to rest and be restored.

At the end of the Psalm HE anoints my head with oil giving you

THE presence and insights of HIS WORD.

THE HOLY SPIRIT OF GOD

and then sets you at the top of the table of blessings and honor.

Even though your enemies are around you.

You are protected.

They will not be able to hurt you because

GOD is with you.

Providing for you and giving you Peace.

As HE places you in the position of Power and Grace and Mercy.

Because THE LORD is YOUR GOD

YOUR SAVIOR

As

HE DIRECTS YOUR STEPS .

HE IS YOUR FRONT AND REAR GUARD.

HE ENCAMPS HIS ANGELS ABOUT YOU.

Just know Every DNA part of you was planned just for you.

Your voice like no other

Your finger prints

Your gifts and talents

The YOU inside of the body given you

To be born for this moment in time.

THE ONE that names each of the stars by name

THE ONE who makes each snowflake different from each other.

No two snowflakes alike.

Like HE DOES each sunrise and each sunset

A new day every morning .

With new hope for something good.

As HE PROMISES A NEW BLESSING EVERY MORNING

To inspire you and me.

Pig interrupted, and don’t forget

The clouds we Play with when we take our naps on the BIG blanket.

As we both look up and play cloud games of what we see that looks like pictures of things like elephants and people that we make stories about and laugh.

I won’t forget Pig.

As I began to share again

The Joy of the simple things as well as the wonder of HIS CREATIONS of you and me and plants and trees and all the animals BIG and small,

And remind ourselves the comfort they bring us.

Not only for food and medicines taken from nature itself but for the AMAZING beauty of it all.

Pig said, I do love Pancakes and real butter and milk and real maple syrup and ice cold milk.

You must be hungry and breakfast will be made soon in our cast iron skillet for you soon .

I know Pig and I do love pancakes too.

Little ones BIG ones and middle size ones

Stacked up high especially the little ones to dip syrup in.

We do need food but after we eat what do we do?

Pig looked at me and said, GIVE THANKS,

AGAIN.

Yes, Pig

Exactly.

Giving Thanks Pig is an all day Prayer.

We don’t want to take every kindness given us

Or Prayer prayed for us taken for granted .

Every stop sign or stop light we waited extra at.

We want to be listening to hear

GODS VOICE.

To listen what THE SPIRIT OF THE LORD SAYS .

But on that note GOD KNOWS IT ALL.

The good the bad and our ending from our beginning.

A time to be born

A time to live

A time to die.

We need to measure our life daily with the days and breaths that GOD has given us.

So we give HIM PRAISE for the breaths HE

HAS GIVEN TO EACH OF US .

TRUST HIM

who made it ALL

AND

KNOW HE LIVES ETERNALLY

AND LOVES US

with that same love as ABBA our heavenly DADDY.

HE doesn’t view death like we do.

Absent from the body is present with HIM.

Look up

And Give THANKS

Again absent from the body is present with HIM

in heaven there is no waiting.

Your

Last breath

Directly sent to HIM to live with HIM forever.

No more pain

Eternity with HIM

HIS PRESENCE OF LOVE AND LIFE WITH HIM

INDESCRIBABLE.

As my friend Marion would say to me when troubles came.

ALWAYS KNOW THIS:

NOTHING is a surprise to GOD.

HE IS THE ALPHA AND OMEGA

The beginning and the ending.

Even though GOD who made it ALL

SITS ABOVE AND OUTSIDE OF TIME that HE MADE

ALL THIS FOR YOU.

To prepare you for who you will trust ?

Who will you serve?

Then your days numbered are ready to meet your choosing .

Present with HIM in great LOVE FOR YOU.

Or

Him the fallen one of the world and its deceptions of the enemy of your soul.

HE closes a door and opens a window or another

For you to pass through to deliver you from evil.

THE FATHER

THE HOLY SPIRIT

as we say YES to JESUS forgiveness

And accepting HIM

as Our LORD and SAVIOR

To walk through this life.

HE gives you HIS BOOK

HIS LOVE

HIS FORGIVENESS

Fully equipping you and armed now with the armor of GOD

As you start out your day FIRST In Prayer with HIM.

And HE KNOWS YOUR VOICE.

The prayers you pray are perfect to HIM.

HE even has a book like a diary when you talk about HIM.

HE will guide you as you start and finish your journey.

HE IS BIGGER than what we think.

to what HE has done for us.

Let us Pig start our own journal of all the things

HE HAS DONE .

Because sometimes and I must say most of the time we forget.

I know when troubles and Pain come we forget.

We just do.

And then we can get out our journal and read again
